Credits & candidate enrichment
What one credit buys, what stays unlimited, and how the monthly pool works.
One credit enriches one candidate. That's the only thing credits are spent on.
When you enrich a candidate, Shortlistr:
- Pulls their profile data from professional networks
- Runs the AI brief-completion pass on them against the role
- Tracks them through every stage of the brief room — verdicts, notes, comparisons, exports
The same candidate is never charged twice in the same workspace. Re-importing them, re-opening their card, re-running AI on them, or moving them through more rooms is free.
Monthly pool
Each plan includes a pool of enrichments that refreshes every billing period:
- Solo — ~80 candidate enrichments / month
- Studio — ~250 candidate enrichments / user / month
- Firm — custom volume, negotiated annually
What stays unlimited
- Searches (Coresignal queries, agentic search runs)
- Briefs, brief drafting, devil's-advocate runs
- Briefing rooms, reviewer invites, reviewer seats
- AI on candidates you've already enriched (intro drafts, intelligence, Q&A)
- PDF and DOCX exports
- Re-opening and re-sharing rooms
What spends a credit
- The first time you enrich a candidate in your workspace
- Spreadsheet, CV, and LinkedIn imports do not spend a credit on their own — the import is free; enrichment is the chargeable action
- Agent runs that return candidates you've already enriched don't re-charge
Top-ups and auto-recharge
Top-up packs (50 / 200 / 1000 credits) and opt-in auto-recharge ship with the next pricing update. Today the meter is visible in Settings → Billing but no account is charged on it — existing subscribers will be grandfathered when the new pricing goes live.
Where to see your usage
Settings → Billing shows your current monthly pool, how many credits you've spent in the period, and a recent-activity ledger of every enrichment.
